Our Client:
SKRE Gear® is a high performance hunting apparel and gear company. They are committed to offering rugged and durable , high-performance outdoor clothing within an accessible price range. Customer service is one of their top priorities, as well as providing the industry’s best warranty on the products they provide hunters and outdoorsmen.



The Problem:
The objective was to increase overall sales during the off season. A majority of their sales generally occur during the hunting season, which runs from August through November. With spring right around the corner it would soon be turkey season.
Since SKRE hadn’t invested time with the turkey hunting market, it was difficult to determine how successful this new market segment would be. The majority of their product line was established to support the western hunting community, focusing on big game hunting demographics.
The previous year, SKRE had introduced a new camouflage pattern called Summit which they believed would be a highly marketable product for Turkey hunters during the spring season.
Solution:
We proposed they bundle a few of the best products we felt would make up a great package for hunters who would be taking part in the spring Turkey season. The difficulty was, we didn’t have any advertising content to display how effective this gear would be during an actual hunt.
In order to capture the shots we wanted, we arranged to film at a picturesque location with several cameras. This allowed us to capture great footage that showed all of the products in the bundle in action.
We used special effects in post production to capture people’s attention during the final video, as well as infographics to explain how each product fit into the bundle and what made that ideal for the upcoming spring Turkey hunt.
The Turkey Hunters Journey:
This final video showed the hunter wearing the entire Turkey Hunter bundle, while the final infographic simply summarizes it all, displaying a hunter in a pristine natural setting wearing each piece of the complete Turkey bundle. To close the video we show a successful hunter returning to camp with a tale draped over his shoulder.
Result:
The advertising campaigns that we deployed using those newly created video assets resulted in a 723% return on investment for SKRE Gear® during this launch.
